And honestly, Canmore is a destination in itself:

🚗 Easier parking and fewer crowds

2️⃣ HARVIE HEIGHTS - The Hidden Gem
One of the lesser-known options near Banff. You’ll find vacation rentals and condos here, and it’s located right near the park entrance ,meaning you can be closer to Banff than you might expect.

3️⃣ DEAD MAN’S FLATS - Yes, That’s Really the Name 😂
Just outside Canmore and often more affordable than staying in Banff or Canmore. If you’re spending most of your days out exploring anyway, this can be a great budget-friendly base.

4️⃣ GOLDEN, BC - For the Budget-Conscious Traveller
A little farther from Banff, but this gorgeous mountain town can offer much better-value stays. It’s also an excellent base for exploring Yoho National Park and the surrounding Rockies.
