During her sit-down on #SteppingIntoTheShadeRoom, Keri admitted her biggest mistake was listening to the wrong industry executives early on and not advocating harder for herself through power dynamics.

When asked if there’s been any outreach from Beyoncé’s camp, Keri shared that while they haven’t spoken directly, she likes to believe Bey extends the grace to understand it wasn’t Keri’s idea or doing as a new artist. Keri added that while she wouldn’t force a sit-down, she would absolutely be open to it if the opportunity naturally presented itself.
