According to espn, sources told Shams Charania that Westbrook had offers from the Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards, but decided to step away from the league on his terms.

Westbrook was the first-round, fourth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. He was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics, which became the Oklahoma City Thunder that same year.
