#TSRUpdatez: #Roomies, an Indiana Tim Hortons employee will not face criminal charges following a physical altercation with a 75-year-old customer who later died. According to the people, per the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, #AnitaGrayson died from an acute exacerbation of congestive heart failure after the May 13 altercation at a Fort Wayne Tim Hortons. _______________________
After reviewing surveillance footage, 911 calls, dispatch records, and witness statements, prosecutors determined that “criminal charges will not be filed.” If you recall authorities say Grayson initially ordered food through the drive-thru but returned about seven minutes later to dispute her order at the front counter. A verbal exchange with a 17-year-old employee reportedly escalated, prompting an adult employee to step between them.

However the confrontation then became physical. Investigators say Grayson shoved and struck the employee, and the two fell to the floor while struggling before coworkers separated them. Surveillance footage reportedly supported the employees’ accounts, showing Grayson making the first physical contact. Witnesses also described the altercation consistently. _______________________
The adult employee told investigators Grayson allegedly punched her in the face, grabbed her hair, and pulled her through the employee doors. Investigators later documented bruising, facial scratches, and a significant amount of hair that had been pulled from her scalp. Grayson was evaluated at the restaurant before being taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Following her death, the coroner classified her manner of death as undetermined. The medical examiner reportedly found no significant injuries from the altercation and said they could not determine with reasonable medical certainty whether the physical confrontation caused her death or whether her preexisting congestive heart failure progressed under the stress of the incident. After reviewing the evidence, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office concluded that the employee would not face criminal charges. SWIPE #TSRStaffAS 📷:(gettyimages)
