CM Punk and Kevin Owens went face to face on SmackDown ahead of their Undisputed WWE Championship match next Friday in Toronto.

Owens: "20 years ago, me and Phil wrestled for the same independent promotion, and he was the big top guy." Owens said Punk berated him in a locker room full of his peers.

Owens: "I have regretted for 20 years not punching you in the mouth."

Owens: "Every friend I have in this industry hates you."

Punk: "Being hated by losers is the price I pay for not being one of them."

Punk: "I see a tough guy, but he's a bum."

Owens said he waited 20 years and can wait seven more days to beat Punk for the WWE Title. Punk said in Toronto he puts Owens to sleep.

The first ever match between them takes place next Friday on SmackDown in Toronto.
