At the series premiere of USA Network’s Anna Pigeon, Crystle Lightning spoke to E! News’ Will Marfuggi about her character Frieda and revealed a classic movie character that she borrowed from to inform her role. “I kind of took something from [Annie in Ghostbusters] as well,” she shared. “That was in my recipe for Frieda.” Crystle also relayed the advice director Lea Thompson gave her that she brought into her performance. Anna Pigeon premieres Aug. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.
