Following the departure of its director and assistant director in the last year, UC Berkeley’s Student Parent Center now has no professional staff.

Tomie Lenear, who has been the center’s director for 11 years, will leave his role Aug. 28, according to an email sent to student-parents and obtained by The Daily Californian.

The email said the center would not be closing, but students say this has fractured the trust they had built with campus.
