There’s an upscale black owned restaurant soulshackdallas in Cedar Hill TX that makes for the perfect date night, girls night or celebration. This spot has a grown and sexy ambience and the DJ sets the mood with the vibes all night. Every night this spot has a different theme night so no matter what day you go on, you’ll definitely have a good time.

We started things off with some of their drinks which are aesethically pleasing and definitely pretty strong. The Don Julio flights are fire and come with 4 different flavors. We also got a mimosa tower which comes out with sparklers and is perfect for a big group. For the appetizers, we tried everything from the soul rolls, to fried green tomatoes to potstickers. The soul rolls are such a good starter for the table. They have jerk chicken, yams, Mac n cheese & greens inside. Every bite is so good and the sauce pairs amazing. The fried green tomatoes were also really good and the sauce that comes with it is definitely fire. For the entrees, some of the ones we’d recommend would be the beef short rib and Parmesan lamb chops. We wanted to try new things from the last time we came and the beef short ribs did not disappoint. The short ribs were nice and tender and it comes over a bed of rice, the Parmesan lamb chops were also very flavorful and they come with mashed potatoes. Both dishes were seasoned to perfection and of course we had to get the big 3 of sides with the Mac n cheese, yams & green with the cornbread. For dessert we had the fried pound cake with peach cobbler and it was fire. Surprisingly it wasn’t an overly sweet dessert and it was the perfect way to end the night.
