ONE DOWN. NOW THE HUNT CONTINUES.
The 2026 season is officially underway, and the Edmonton Huskies made a statement in Week 1.
Huskies 27. Calgary Colts 6.
A strong opening-night performance, a win in front of the home crowd, and exactly the kind of start we wanted.
But nobody is getting comfortable.
Next up: the Winnipeg Rifles.
Winnipeg comes to Edmonton as a team that entered the season with preseason Top 10 recognition, and they'll be coming to JP Bowl looking to make some noise of their own. This is another early-season test, and another opportunity for this group to show what it's capable of.
