1. Your stock LS1 intake isn't the bottleneck — it's good for 400+ wheel with the right supporting mods. That manifold swap you're pricing out is solving a problem you probably don't have yet.

2. The LS6 intake swap is the real cheat code. Same cathedral port design, better runners, proven gains for like $150 used. It's the mod equivalent of finding a $20 bill in your winter jacket.

3. A FAST 92 or Holley Hi-Ram on a stock-cam LS1 is like putting drag radials on a minivan. Big manifolds need big cams, big heads, and big injectors to actually wake up — otherwise you're buying dyno-sheet clout with zero seat-of-the-pants difference.

4. That $800-1200 manifold budget does more work as a cam + tune combo on a stock-intake LS1. Every C5 guy who's been through this knows the real gains per dollar live in the cam swap, and the manifold conversation doesn't even start until you're chasing 450+.
