This Nyquist colt out of GII winner Slammed topped the offerings during Monday’s opening session of the 105th annual Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale, selling for $3.2 million to Brittany Linton on behalf of Randy and Jenny Boyd’s Boyd Racing. 

Hip 83 was consigned by Gainesway, agent for Stonestreet Bred & Raised.

The Nyquist colt led the way Monday as 15 yearlings sold for seven-figures. Overall, 79 yearlings grossed $54,395,000–more than half of the 2025 auction’s total record gross of $100,845,000. 

It all continues tonight during the second session of the sale in Saratoga Springs, NY, beginning at 6:30p.m.
