Originally from Oakland, California, Kai the Universe draws across genres and cultures to create spaces where music fosters connection. He has collaborated with Youth Speaks' (youthspeaks) Brave New Voices Festival, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and Natasha Diggs' (natashadiggs) Soul in the Horn. Through his ongoing projects “Twisted Universe” and “Universe Radio Night,” he continues to build spaces where timeless sound brings people together.
