5 myths city slickers believe about ranching 🤠 1️⃣Cowboys ride horses all day 🐴  Horses are still an important tool, but there’s a whole lot of ranch work that gets done on two feet too. 2️⃣Cowboys hate technology 💻  Modern ranching uses everything from invisible fencing and embryo transfers to feed calculations and all kinds of technology that make raising cattle more efficient. 3️⃣ Every cowboy greets you with “Howdy!” and “Yeehaw!” According to Tucker, he’s never said either one in his life… although he has had a few choice words for his cows 🙃  4️⃣ All bulls have horns 🐂  A lot of cattle today are naturally polled or dehorned for safety and here’s what really throws people off. Cows can have horns too!  5️⃣ All cows are black and white 🐄  Hollywood has some explaining to do on this one 😂 Black and white Holsteins are primarily what you seen on television but those are dairy cattle. The vast majority of beef cattle are black or red.
