Abby Warriner, a third-year biomedical engineering major from Newmarket, earns team MVP honours for a second consecutive season. Abby was recognized as an OUA All-Star and U SPORTS All-Canadian for a second season in a row, and led her team to a spot in the OUA semifinals. ⁠

Ella was a noticeable presence on the field for the Gryphon field hockey team in 2023 at the age of just 18. The first-year human kinetics major from North Vancouver, BC anchored the Gryphon defence while showcasing poise on the ball while also contributing to the U of G attack. ⁠
