🔎 Today’s Daily Sift: Crypto/Blockchain 

Crypto is becoming institutional without becoming domesticated.

Bitcoin is holding near $65,000 even after the US Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act before its August recess. Capital kept flowing anyway. 

That matters.

Crypto is becoming less dependent on regulatory headlines and more dependent on actual adoption.

Robinhood launched crypto trading for UK customers today, placing more than 50 digital assets beside equities, options, futures, and traditional investment products inside one application.

Its blockchain ecosystem has already generated more than $18 billion in decentralized exchange volume since July 1. 

Meanwhile, European company H100 added 2,455 Bitcoin through a Bitcoin denominated acquisition, bringing its treasury to 3,506 BTC.

Bitcoin was not merely the asset being acquired.

It became the currency used to structure the deal. 

Then Bitcoin itself delivered a reminder of what makes this technology different.

A proposal called BIP 110 failed to win consensus.

Supporters created their own fork.

Miners overwhelmingly chose the original Bitcoin network.

The competing chain produced two blocks and stalled. 

No central authority decided the winner.

The network did.

Forward Hypothesis

Crypto is moving in two directions simultaneously.

The surface is becoming institutional.

The foundation remains permissionless.

That tension may define the next era.

Crypto may not overthrow traditional finance.

It may quietly become the operating system underneath it.
