And then there are dancers who become the music.

Dancing with zarema_amore at Danzapura, Goa was one of those moments I’ll remember for a long time. ❤️

I already knew she was an incredible salsa artist. An International Salsa Instructor, Moscow Salsa Cup Champion, and someone whose championship performances speak for themselves. But watching her teach was another level. Every explanation had purpose. Every drill had intention. She wasn’t just teaching steps. She was teaching why the movement exists, how to truly hear the music, and how to express it.

Then came social dancing.

We danced bachata, and honestly… WOW.

The connection was effortless. Every pause, every accent, every musical detail was there. She wasn’t just following the lead. She was having a conversation with the music and adding her own personality to every movement. That’s what makes a social dance unforgettable.

One of my favorite moments? While we were dancing, Tanvi was in the background doing solo shines and vibing to the same song. It perfectly captured what social dancing is all about. Whether you’re dancing with a partner or expressing yourself solo, everyone shares the same music, the same energy, and the same dance floor.

Thank you, zarema_amore, for this beautiful dance, your inspiring workshops, and for reminding all of us that technique means nothing without musicality, connection, and joy. Can’t wait for the next dance. 💙
