Mark Fletcher Jr. runs with more than a football — he runs with a purpose. In October 2024, Fletcher lost his father, Mark Sr., known as “Big Mark,” just days before Miami faced rival Florida State. Fletcher never considered sitting out. He scored the Hurricanes’ first touchdown, dropped to one knee and pointed to the sky. Since then, his father has become his “why.” In 2025: 1,192 rushing yards, 12 rushing TDs, Third-Team All-ACC and a CFP-record 507 rushing yards during Miami’s postseason run.
