Thursday Thoughts — The Lord Will Provide

"Look at the birds of the air… your heavenly Father feeds them.” – Matthew 6:26

In the song The Lord Will Provide, Passion reminds us of a truth we find throughout Scripture: God is our provider.

Jesus points us toward the birds of the air and the flowers of the field and reminds us that our heavenly Father knows what we need. He doesn't ask us to carry tomorrow today. He invites us to trust Him.

God's provision doesn't always look like having everything we want or seeing the path clearly ahead. Sometimes His provision is a door opening. Sometimes it's strength for another day. Sometimes it's peace when the circumstances haven't changed.

The Master Provider knows what we need—and He is faithful.

👉 What are you carrying today that you've been trying to provide for yourself? Surrender it to God. Ask Him for what you need, and then choose to trust Him with what comes next.
