We caught up with oaklandacademyofknowledge principal Nikki Williams about what it means to have eatlearnplay return to campus and complete a schoolyard for the younger grades after building one for OAK’s older students in 2022.

TK through 2nd graders now have their own space to play: two kid-designed play structures, a multi-sport court, a soccer field, nature exploration areas, and more. Our 24th schoolyard build, alongside kaboom and ousdnews. #7YearsInOakland
