Congratulations to our amazing collectors on their newest acquisition: Isabelle Scheltjens’ “Shades of Attitude,” now home in Atlanta.

Scheltjens hand-cuts thousands of individual glass fragments, layers them two and three deep, and fuses the whole composition together at nearly 800°C. Stand close and all you see is color, fractured, abstract, almost chaotic. Step back, and a face resolves with startling clarity, personality and expression rendered in glass instead of paint. 

A huge thank you to Hanna for making this acquisition happen, from our gallery to a home in Buckhead.
