In 1976, Karl Birkenstock redefined the clog category with the launch of the Boston - a gender-neutral silhouette designed around our legendary cork-latex footbed to enable natural walking.

To honor this milestone, we brought the immersive "House of Boston" pop-up to a historical building on Changle Road, Shanghai. The experience brought our heritage to life through factory archive exhibitions, interactive community walks, and a custom DIY workshop utilizing genuine leather offcuts from our German factories.

Fifty years of craftsmanship, quality, and tradition - and the journey is just beginning.
