With technology evolving and AI usage rapidly expanding, instructors at the University of Guelph-Humber remain at the cutting edge through professional development to ensure students have the best possible learning experiences. 

Guelph-Humber awarded four instructors with bursaries to attend conferences on teaching and learning best practices: Kinesiology instructor Jaime Lever, Psychology instructor Dr. Helen Chen, Early Childhood Studies instructor Gowtham Vijayakumaran, and Justice Studies/Media and Communication Studies instructor Jamie Killingsworth. 

Instructors learned about using AI for accessibility and evaluations, as well as how to show students how to use this technology responsibly.
