Science Rendezvous (@sci_rendezvous) returned to the University of Guelph-Humber for a day filled with interactive science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) learning for kids, youth, and people of all ages 🔬

But this year’s community event stood out because 2026 is the year Guelph-Humber received the Science Rendezvous Community Champion Award for last year’s event!

Guelph-Humber won the honour for its commitment to accessible learning, event growth, and array of partnerships with community organizations that make the event a success annually.

“It is such an honour that the University of Guelph-Humber received this award last year. With Science Rendezvous 2026, we hoped to continue to ignite young scientists’ interest in all things science and expose them to new learning opportunities,” @uofghkin student volunteer Julie Harris said.
