In federal court on Friday, Luigi Mangione said in his own words he shot and killed UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson on Dec. 4, 2024 — and he recounted some of the events leading up to that day.
Mangione said he posed as an investor, emailing the health insurance company to get information about amyecomingE THE conference in Manhattan. He used a 3D printer to make parts of a gun and travelled to New York, where he knew Thompson would be attending the event.
