Have you attended any TexasTech events lately? If so, you have likely seen the balloon designs created by finance graduate Claire Hamlett and her family business, LaughingGoatDesign.

With the help of her loved ones, Claire has grown Laughing Goat Design into a full-blown company, having accomplished nearly 3,000 installations since its launch in 2019. Throughout her journey, she has acquired valuable lessons as a business leader and designer, such as the importance of self-confidence and prioritizing quality over quantity. While finance and balloons may seem like an unlikely duo, Claire attributes much of her success to her time at Rawls College.
