Surface prep is EVERYTHING. Proper sandblasting creates the mechanical adhesion Cerakote needs to bond correctly and perform the way it was designed to.

Our go-to approved medias:
⚡ #100 Grit Aluminum Oxide
⚡ #100 Grit Garnet Sand
⚡ 10X EpiX MP 

Different substrates = different approaches:
🔩 Metals → 80-100 PSI with an even sandpaper-like profile
🧩 Composites/Polymers/Carbon Fiber → 30-40 PSI with a light matte etched finish

Pro tip: if your blasted surface still has inconsistent sheen, you’re not done blasting yet.

Another pro tip:
Old contaminated media = inconsistent adhesion. Swap your media regularly to maintain a clean, consistent profile. Your coating will thank you later.
