🌘 Une éclipse solaire n’est pas si rare sur Terre... encore faut-il être au bon endroit pour l’observer ! Dans certains lieux, il faut parfois attendre plusieurs siècles pour revoir le Soleil disparaître entièrement derrière la Lune, une histoire, toute simple, de géométrie.

☀️Le Soleil est environ 400 fois plus grand que la Lune, mais il a le bon goût d’être également 400 fois plus distant. Des proportions qui permettent, de temps en temps, à leurs disques de se superposer presque parfaitement dans notre ciel, quand la lune s’intercale précisément entre le Soleil et nous. 

🇪🇸🇫🇷🇮🇸Hier c’est l’Espagne et le sud de la France (mais aussi l’Islande et d’autres zones) qui ont eu droit au spectacle, du genre qu’on n’oublie pas.

📸Quelques images de ce rendez-vous très précis entre trois astres. Même si, en ce qui me concerne, la Lune éclipse toujours un peu le Soleil… 👀🌑😇

🌘 A solar eclipse is not such a rare event on Earth… but you still have to be in the right place to see it! From some locations, it can take several centuries for the Sun to disappear completely behind the Moon again. It is, quite simply, a matter of geometry.

😎The Sun is around 400 times larger than the Moon, but has the good manners to be around 400 times farther away too. These proportions allow their discs to align almost perfectly in our sky from time to time, when the Moon passes precisely between the Sun and us.

🇪🇸🇫🇷🇮🇸Yesterday, Spain and southern France, as well as Iceland and several other regions, were treated to the kind of spectacle that is not easily forgotten.

A few images of this very precise meeting between three celestial bodies. Although, as far as I am concerned, the Moon always slightly eclipses the Sun… 👀🌑😇
