❗️The Hellcat-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk could be making a comeback for 2028, and it may return with even more power than the original.

Reports say that Jeep’s wildest Grand Cherokee is expected to return with a revised version of the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8.

The original Trackhawk produced a ridiculous 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque, sent through an all-wheel-drive system.

Jeep has not confirmed the new model’s final output yet, but MotorTrend says the current 710-hp Durango SRT Hellcat provides a realistic reference point.

There’s even potential for substantially more power, with 777 horsepower discussed as a possibility depending on which version of the supercharged V8 Jeep ultimately uses. 

The new Trackhawk would sit at the top of the modern Grand Cherokee lineup as a low-volume SRT halo model.

Pricing could start around $90,000, although official pricing has not been announced.

The SUV is currently expected to arrive as a 2028 model, potentially reaching dealerships around fall 2027.

If it happens, the combination of supercharged HEMI power, AWD traction and Grand Cherokee practicality would revive one of the most outrageous performance SUVs of the modern era.
