Seven-game series. Minnesota vs. Houston. Who would win? 👀🔥 (SWIPE)

This matchup would be absolutely ridiculous. Minnesota coming with LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Ayo Dosunmu and Rudy Gobert gives them a crazy mix of playmaking, athleticism, perimeter defense and size. LaMelo running the offense next to Ant could be one of the most entertaining backcourts in basketball, especially with Ant attacking the rim while Melo creates easy looks for everybody. Then you still have McDaniels making life difficult for opposing scorers and Gobert protecting the paint. 😮‍💨🐺

But Houston’s lineup is DIFFERENT. Kevin Durant, Amen Thompson, Alperen Şengün, Jabari Smith Jr. and Fred VanVleet gives the Rockets scoring, length, defense and experience everywhere. And once you get into a playoff series where possessions slow down and you desperately need somebody to create a bucket against great defense… having KD is a massive advantage. Durant has spent his entire career proving he can score against basically any coverage you throw at him. 🎯🚀

The individual matchups would be insane too. Ant vs Amen. LaMelo vs FVV. McDaniels trying to contain KD. Gobert dealing with Şengün inside. Minnesota might have the more explosive young core, but Houston has the type of versatility that could become extremely difficult to solve over seven games.

I could easily see this going 6 or 7 games, but if KD is healthy and playing at his usual playoff level, I’m trusting Houston to eventually figure it out.
