Johnny Manziel, nicknamed “Johnny Football,” starred as the quarterback for the Texas A&M Aggies from 2012 to 2013 after redshirting his true freshman year. 

In his spectacular 2012 debut season, the dual-threat passer led the Aggies to an 11-2 record, including a stunning upset of then-No. 1 Alabama, while throwing for 3,706 yards and 26 touchdowns and rushing for another 1,410 yards and 21 scores; those dazzling numbers earned him the Heisman Trophy as the first freshman ever to win the award. 

He followed that up with another strong campaign in 2013, amassing over 4,000 total yards of offense before declaring for the NFL Draft after just two seasons of college eligibility.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
