South Korean rescuers searched through mud and fallen trees for residents trapped by severe flooding and landslides in South Gyeongsang province.⁣

Coastguard footage showed one person being rescued from a landslide and hospitalized. Media reports stated that the landslide left one person dead and three injured as heavy rain struck the southern region.⁣
⁣
The weather agency issued warnings for the south, where up to 80cm of rain with thunder and lightning has fallen since Saturday.⁣
⁣
According to the safety ministry, around 100 Geoje residents were evacuated over landslide risks, while emergency crews rescued 20 stranded people.⁣
