## Caption

Monoceros (the Unicorn) 🦄 is a modern constellation found on the celestial equator. Here are a couple of objects that can be seen in it!

This stellar jet, a Herbig-Haro object, is found at the outskirts of our Milky Way galaxy. It is 8 light-years across, about double the distance from our Sun to its closest neighbouring star system, Alpha Centauri. It was captured in this image by the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope.

The second image features an expanding halo of light around a distant star, V838 Mon. The illumination of interstellar dust comes from the red supergiant star at the middle of the image, which gave off a flashbulb-like pulse of light 🚨 two years before the image was captured by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope.
