If you've been feeling stuck lately, try one of these:

1. Pull up an old project file, if you cringe at it, congratulations you've made progress.
2. Listen to the songs that made you fall in love with music.
3. Start a track in a genre you've never made before.
4. Make music for 30 minutes without touching your phone.
5. Go for a walk before opening your DAW.
6. Build a song around one single sound you love.
7. Collaborate with someone whose style is different from yours.
8. Recreate your favorite drop as close as you possibly can.
9. Sample a sound from your everyday life.
10. Write a melody before choosing any sounds. Use only INIT.
11. Visit a place you've never been and listen to the world around you.
12. Open a blank project and finish one idea completely before starting another.
13. Spend an hour designing your own sounds.
14. Write music inspired by a favorite memory.
15. Make something intentionally imperfect.
16. Watch a live DJ set for inspiration.
17. Clean up project files that are messy.
18. Turn off the screen and listen with your eyes closed.
19. Build a track around one emotion.
20. Write music for your younger self and what you used to listen to.
21. Produce at a different time of day. See if you feel more inspired.
22. Clean up any plugins you know you will never use.
23. Finish a track in one session.
24. Stay off social media until you've created something.
25. Learn one new production technique then apply it.
26. Share a work in progress with a friend.
27. Build an entire idea from one chord progression.
28. Spend an hour organizing your samples.
29. Go to a local show and leave your phone in your pocket.
30. Remember why you started making music in the first place. This works well with #2.
