HARRY POTTER DAY AND KIDS DAY SUNDAY

Today is Harry Potter Day! Come experience the magic a the ballpark! Gates open at noon, with first pitch at 1:05, as the P-Nats play the Frederick Keys (Baltimore Orioles) in Game Three of the four-game set.

Any fan with a visible scar on their face (lightning bolt or otherwise) can purchase a $5 grandstand ticket.

The seating bowl will be divided up into the four Hogwarts houses- Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. The P-Nats players will be sorted into the houses and compete to bring home the House Cup! Fans who are sitting in the winning House’s section will win a FREE grandstand ticket to a future P-Nats game (excluding July 4th), which they can pick up at the box office on their way out of the ballpark.

Also during the game, there will be an on-field broom race and costume contest, plus a Golden Snitch hidden somewhere in the ballpark. The lucky fan who finds it will win a prize!

Today is additionally Sun Safety Day, presented by the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society and MiLB want you to practice sun safety! As part of the initiative, the first 500 fans will receive a sunscreen sample courtesy of Blue Lizard, and there will be both sun safety and skin cancer information presented to fans during the game.

Sundays are always Kids Days at the ballpark and packed with fun! The first 200 kids 12 and under can eat free, receiving a free hot dog and soda voucher at the gates, while there will be a caricature artist from Manis Creative Entertainment set up in the concourse. 

Post-game, kids 12 & under can get autographs from two P-Nats players, families can play catch on the field and kids can run the bases, courtesy of Glory Days Grill.

During today's game, the P-Nats players and coaches will be wearing the 2019 Military Appreciation jerseys, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union! The P-Nats will wear these camo jerseys on select dates throughout the season to recognize local military members and to thank them for all that they do for our country.

The jerseys will be auctioned off on the final Sunday of the regular season (Aug. 25th) via a silent auction during the game. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Women Veterans Interactive.

Finally, today is a Virginia529 Super Saver Sunday. If fans show their Virginia529 Smart Savers Club Card at the P-Nats Ticket Office, they can receive two free grandstand tickets to the game.
