Rounding out our favorite photo series is Maya Chugh Singh ‘27 @mayasinghphotos with her top picks. We couldn’t choose from all of the wonderful photography last year, so we asked a few of our student photographers to choose for us!

Maya says, “The photo on the second slide is one that I had dreamed of for a while. I love astronomy and sports, so I was curious if there was ever a way I could combine the two through my photography. Williams’ location in the Berkshires means we have low enough light pollution to be able to photograph the stars well. I got lucky that the skies were clear the night of men’s soccer media day, and even luckier that some of the guys were willing to trek down to Cole Field to take this photo. This is a single exposure, converted to black and white of a men’s soccer player under the stars at Cole. Before I graduate, I hope to be able to make a series of sports astrophotography at Williams!”
