The poetry component of DC SCORES was elevated like never before during 2019!

DCS alumni got to hang out with Tank and the Bangas at The Library of Congress, our new partnership with Busboys and Poets is providing space for Youth Open Mics at the new Busboys and Poets Anacostia, and Our Words Our City keeps giving some of our talented poet-athletes a chance to shine alongside other professional poets.  

Join us for a special edition of Our Word Our City on Feb. 6 at Studio Theatre, as DC SCORES celebrates its 25th anniversary with performances from current DC SCORES poet-athletes, alumni, professional poets from the DMV area, and featured performer, Clint Smith!
