STAFF SPOTLIGHT | CHAD BAILEY

Meet Chad Bailey, Assistant Coach of the Amarillo Wranglers.

A native of Walled Lake, Michigan, Bailey brings a decade of coaching experience to Amarillo. Known for his competitiveness, attention to detail and disciplined approach, he has built a strong reputation for developing players and preparing them to advance.

Bailey began his coaching career as an assistant coach with Arizona State University’s ACHA Division I program. He later became a head coach in the NA3HL with the Sheridan Hawks and Texas Brahmas, guiding his teams to multiple playoff appearances and a Fraser Cup appearance.

During his time in Texas, Bailey also served as an assistant coach with the Lone Star Brahmas. He helped the Brahmas capture the 2023–24 Robertson Cup Championship before returning to the Robertson Cup Final in 2024–25.

Bailey then moved into professional hockey as head coach of the Baton Rouge Zydeco in the FPHL before returning to the NAHL and joining the Wranglers.

His focus in Amarillo will be daily player development, accountability and maintaining the championship-caliber standards expected throughout the organization.

Chad, his wife and their three children are excited to call Amarillo home and become part of the Texas Panhandle community.
