Across rural Tanzania and Uganda, women and girls keep families fed — while too often eating last and least.

Through the GENTU Project, Action Against Hunger Canada is taking a gender-transformative approach to strengthen food systems, empower women, and build climate-smart, and sustainable solutions that nourish communities and protect the environment.

By investing in sustainable agriculture, nutrition training, clean water, and community-led change, the GENTU Project supports more than 300,000 people, helping families become more resilient to food insecurity and the effects of climate change.
