What started with a swipe turned into an unexpected connection. 💙🩺

When incoming UF College of Nursing TBSN student Alyssa Santoro signed up for a roommate-matching app, she never expected to be matched with two fellow nursing students. She met one of them, Brianna Reynolds, for the first time during TBSN Orientation, and the two quickly discovered they had more in common than just an apartment.

From different hometowns and backgrounds, Alyssa and Brianna share a passion for caring for others and an excitement to begin their #GatoRNursing journeys. They’re part of the College of Nursing’s largest-ever TBSN cohort, with 312 students beginning classes this fall.

As orientation brought classmates together, introduced them to faculty and peer mentors, and prepared them for the challenges ahead, new friendships were already taking shape.

“I just want to dive into it already,” Alyssa said.
