## Caption

Concerts are a sensory overload. I am looking at the crowd, the props, and I remember space, the smoke and the alien gigantic light towers. The musicians are somewhere down there. I don’t worry about earthquakes, the stadium feels strong. I do marvel at how music makes babies out of gruff looking folks whose smile lines have become frown lines. Whose design choices have all converged to either t shirts or jackhammer plaid shirts. I am temporarily happy, work has been miserable and I am building clarity to cut off the gangrene, I am dreading the train ride back and worry my bladder won’t last. #oldies #metallica #72seasons (events from June 2025)

Gouache done on an older painting of meat slabs. Colors of white really thought out to make the dullest white look brighter than it is. 💪 to color theory.
