After more than 20 years in freediving and spearfishing, these are the 3 rules I believe make the biggest difference if you really want to become a better spearo. 🎯🌊

1. Experiment 🧪
 Don’t blindly follow one technique or one person. Try different approaches, equipment, depths, hunting styles and techniques. Keep what works for you. Experience is built through trial, mistakes and adaptation.
2. Travel 🌍
 Different seas create different spearos. Current, visibility, depth, temperature, fish behavior and local techniques change completely from one place to another. Every new environment forces you to adapt—and adaptation makes you better.
3. Share 🤝
 Dive with people who are better than you. Exchange knowledge with local spearos. Teach what you know and stay open to learning what you don’t. Some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned came simply from sharing the water with others.

There is no single road to becoming a great spearo.
