## Caption

Physical education teacher Jim Hallett is retiring after 30 magical years at William E. Norris Elementary School in Southampton. 25 of which he spent spearheading the now annual Quidditch tournament. The game, played by sixth-grade classes, is unlike the book’s adaptation game of Quadball. Instead, there are three main focuses to Hallett’s version: the quaffle is thrown around and is scored in a soccer net-like zone, guarded by one or more goaltenders, the bludger is a dodgeball and is thrown at other players to stop them in their place, and the snitch is a foxtail ball thrown into the air by other teammates around the edge of the gym floor and is to be caught in a small jug carried by two members of either team. 

Classes create their own team names and work together to be crowned champions. The three finalist teams this year were the Fireball McQueens, Ice Spice and Midnight Storm.
