It’s always a great day when I get the chance to chat with an author in person and the other day, I met up with children’s author @jessicamiloauthor and she shared a glimpse into the meaningful story behind her debut picture book MY PONY WONDER. A wonderful story perfect for young children and readers interested in horses & ponies, outdoor adventures, and the power of friendship.

Jessica was also kind enough to donate a number of her books to support my literacy initiative and give children access to her sweet new story! 🐴📚💛

This was such a great day! Authors are the kindest humans! Thanks so much Jessica (and a big thank you to your grandmother Pat for helping make this happen 💛).
