For #JobActionDay, I thought it'd be cool to talk about my new job at Public Sector Consultants since I was just added to the website with my new headshot, resume, and bio. 

Back in August, I was in the thick of job searching after losing what I thought was my dream job. This job, was sent to me by a previous internship director I'd had. I applied for the job via email per the PDF she sent me, and over that weekend the job popped up on my Indeed and LinkedIn so I applied there too. 

After having to reschedule my first interview due to tech issues, I was sure that I hadn't made the right first impression. Once I completed my interview, everything felt right. I was told there would be a second interview and that I'd hear back soon. Instead, the callback that I got was to offer me the job as a Content Marketer. 

I started on Sept. 12th, and since the first day of walking in, I knew this was the job that I had been looking for all along! Everything from the work I do to the people I work with has been like a unicorn. I could go on forever about how great it has been, but the best thing so far has been having the chance to really step into adulthood with my first real big girl job and being able to focus on personal goals. Not only do I get to do the work that I love, every day I am growing and evolving into the adult that I want to be.
