We welcomed Six into our home 2 years ago. After spending a couple of weeks fostering her, we fell in love and just couldn’t bear to let her go. We love you Six and are so lucky to have you in our lives!!! #fosterdog #adoptadog #huskymix #germanshepherdpuppy Pie was no super into Six at first… She is a biggggg snuggler! We got her DNA tested with embarkvet because we were so curious what her mix was! This was the first day Six was in our house. She was so scared! We tried to just let her go at her own pace and not push anything. She wouldn’t even eat at first, it was so hard to watch!!! The best part has been watching Six absolutely adore her big sister. She learned everything about being a dog from Pie and is so much more confident when Pie is around! She quickly got over the no eating thing… 💕💕💕 This is a perfect example of how Six plays so gently with little pups. The little guy is Bear, a foster we had for a few weeks last summer. You can tell Six knew just how to handle the little guy, having been in that same situation just a year before! Her superpower is helping other foster doggos feel more comfortable and it’s rhe sweetest thing to witness! courtneyjdavis is the whole reason we have Six to begin with. This woman is a dog whisperer and works tirelessly to rescue dogs in need. Six is forever grateful to Courtney and istandwithmypack And then our family was 4 Sorry to all my human friends, but Six is now my all-time favorite run buddy. We’ve already been on so many adventures together and more to come! This is one of the first times Pie and Six started to play when we were fostering her. Seeing this is what sealed the deal for us keeping Six. We felt like if Pie liked her… it’s game over. Six is still pretty shy with humans (not shy at all with dogs!!) although she has gotten much better with time. We have no idea what she went through before we got her, so we just try and give her so much love and show her safety and security. Little by little… The belly!!!! Six’s first time in the ocean!!!
