Individual medals and relay bronze cap outstanding championship 💙

The Mighty Blues finished the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in style, producing two individual medals, relay success and a host of outstanding performances on the final day. 

🥈 Christopher Montana (Trinity Grammar) claimed silver in the Men's 50m Freestyle with a personal best 22.54. 

🥉 Luke Higgs (Warringah) continued the meet of his life, winning bronze in the Men's 1500m Freestyle in 15:11.23, taking almost 19 seconds off his personal best and recording PBs in every event he contested throughout the championships. 

🏅 Heidi Shumack (SOPAC) and Lukas Dunn (Knox Pymble) both narrowly missed the podium with 4th-place finishes in their 200m Individual Medley finals, while Jodie Mead (Woy Woy) added another personal best to finish 4th in the Women's 50m Freestyle. 

🥉 Australia also claimed bronze in the Women's 4x100m Medley Relay, with NSW swimmers Heidi Shumack and Jodie Mead contributing to the podium performance. 

A fantastic finish to a memorable championship for the Mighty Blues, with medals, personal bests and international experience laying the foundation for an exciting future. 💪💙
