At the heart of the new label design is the number 1340, the year the estate was founded. It is treated as monumental, almost architectural typography: large serif numerals arranged in a dense vertical composition occupy nearly half the height of the label. This bold graphic device works equally well on the shelf of a premium wine store and in a digital storefront.
