Some things hit differently when you don’t have your parents to run to anymore.

You learn how to carry your pain quietly, wipe your own tears, and keep going even when all you really want is to hear their voice and feel safe for just a moment.

So when I saw, “Imagine hurting a girl who can’t run to her parents,” whew… that one hit deep. 💔

Be gentle with people. You never know what kind of strength they’ve been forced to build just to survive the things they can’t call home about.
