Madison Francis put together a historic freshman campaign at Mississippi State. 

She recorded a program-record 88 blocks for a freshman and led the country in blocks per game at 2.84, becoming the first SEC player to lead the nation in blocks in more than two decades. 🔥

What makes Francis’ defensive impact so impressive is the versatility she brings at 6’2” as a wing/forward. She has the athleticism, length and defensive instincts to impact the game all over the floor, from protecting the rim and creating turnovers to defending multiple positions in space. 

Francis earned SEC All-Defensive Team and SEC All-Freshman Team honors and was named to the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watch List.

She’s already established herself as one of the best defensive players in women’s college basketball. 🔒✍️
