#WHYPIPHIWEDNESDAY 🩷🪽

Meet Lilly Shannon, a member of MC ‘24 from Ann Arbor, Michigan! From the moment she walked into Pi Phi, she knew she had found a place where she was surrounded by sisters who felt like family and a home away from home. Read more about how Pi Phi has shaped Lilly into who she is today!

“Going through recruitment, I knew the most important thing I wanted was a sisterhood that felt like family, because of how close I am with my own sister. From the first time I walked into Pi Phi, the girls I talked to instantly felt like older sisters I could look up to. The way they supported one another and spoke so genuinely about their experiences inspired me and showed me the kind of leadership and character I still look up to today.

Every time I was in Pi Phi, I felt so welcomed and honestly at ease. I never felt like I had to fit a certain stereotype or be anyone other than myself. Every conversation was effortless and genuine, and I could truly see the authentic friendships between every sister.

Even though I had just moved so far away from home, Pi Phi quickly became my home away from home. Running home on Bid Day was the best feeling ever, and every day since then has only reaffirmed everything I felt as a PNM. “Friends and leaders for life” couldn’t be more true. Because of Pi Phi, I’ve met my best friends, grown so much as both a person and a leader, and found a sisterhood I’m endlessly grateful for. Every time, I would choose Pi Phi 😇”
